All applicants for this B2B Sales Consultant position will be evaluated based on their ability to meet sales quotas and revenue targets, prospect and develop accounts, and grow strategic relationships.

The Sales Consultant will need to increase revenue through new clients as well as rounding out services to existing clients. The Consultant will initiate consistent contact with clients and prospects via telephone, e-mail and personal visits, and will match and introduce these clients and prospects to the products and services that best meet their needs. Candidates must be comfortable presenting in small and large groups and be familiar with all aspects of corporate benefits (health, dental, life, short- and long-term disability insurances – some experience with individual insurance a plus.)

General Responsibilities:

·         Execute systematic sales techniques

·         Record all contacts with existing and potential clients

·         Present annual benefits changes at employee meetings and answer customer questions regarding features and benefits

·         Perform all tasks in accordance with the company's core values

·         Job performance will be measured through a variety of related sales metrics


·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

·         Current NYS Life, Accident & Health license

·         Min. 2+ years of experience selling business to business

·         Sales backgrounds in health insurance, benefits, payroll and similar industries

·         Documented sales success of meeting and achieving sales goals

·         Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

·         Excellent communication and presentation skill

·         Professional appearance and demeanor

·         Positive and service-minded attitude

·         Comfort with being a team player and doing whatever is needed, big or small

·         Exceptional organizational skills; ability to multi-task in dynamic environment

·         Advanced level computer skills; well versed in using Microsoft Office Suite

·         Able to manage and get along with diverse personalities

·         Must maintain confidentiality and integrity

·         Effective follow-up, deadline focused
