Consider your motives for each potential decision and how each relates to the desires of your heart. 

Go through a process of elimination when realizing that certain choices are contrary to your stated desires or offer more of what you’re trying to reduce or terminate in your life.       

For instance, if getting out of debt is the desire of your heart, don’t take out student loans to go back to school.   Look for more creative ways to finance a return to school and remain committed to honoring your core value of living without bondage to debt.
