About The Novem Group
The Novem Group (TNG) is a coaching firm comprised of 7 licensed psychologists with a strong desire to make their services and skills more approachable and accessible through seminar productions, trainings, workshops, and life/business/executive coaching.
Riding the wave of growing excitement regarding the positive psychology movement, TNG has expanded the scope of its focus well beyond the four walls of its four satellite offices and literally into the world via electronic media and significantly more face-to-face contact. Coaching allows TNG to be a resource to people all over the world through the website and teleconferencing. Thus, businesses, groups, and individuals can find in TNG the assurance of collaborative partnership, convenient access, and consistent hands-on support for increased awareness and sustained change and growth.
Since 2006, most of TNG's founding members had been meeting once a month to provide support for the challenges of running individual practices. This eventually led to discussions about how combined efforts could help more people. Over the course of a year and a half, monthly meetings evolved into weekly meetings for another year until the vision of TNG became a corporate entity in June 2007.
The strength of TNG is that they have more than 100 years of collective experience in human behavior, therefore every client has the benefit of receiving all of that experience. Additionally, the coaching industry is an unlicensed field and there may be any number of inadequately trained “life coaches” with few, if any, credentials entering the field as it grows. It is increasingly important to have some measure of identifying authentic professionals who know what they’re doing. As psychologists, TNG coaches are accountable to the state licensing board for the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct, and are in a position to offer that added assurance to its clients.
While coaching is the answer to the problem of cluttered thinking, depleting workplace demands, and lack of adequate support and/or motivation, TNG is the answer for credible coaching.
