One of the ways we define success is to measure our impact on our community. Whether its our annual charity golf tournament or any of the various other projects and causes we participate in during the year, giving back to our community is one of the core principals of Novem Group.

AutismUp is the leading 501(c)3 autism organization in Rochester and the surrounding areas. Founded in 2004, by a small group of parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), our mission is to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and their families, by expanding and enhancing opportunities to improve quality of life.

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation's largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers - Bigs - and children - Littles -, ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

To protect, treat and counsel children and their families, to investigate and prosecute the abusers. Bivona treat each child with respect, with care, with compassion. They make it possible for the trauma to stop, and the healing to begin.

CDS Monarch provides individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families, the support and opportunities needed to build fulfilling and independent lives as active members of our community. Our services are adapted to the unique needs of our individuals based on the belief that every person deserves the right to both quality and choice of care.
Through our Life Transitions services and Unistel, a subsidiary of CDS Monarch, we are able to assist individuals with transitional and employment needs. We are proud to have added Warrior Salute™ and CDS Monarch Senior Living, expanding our scope of services to Veterans with PTSD and/or TBI, and Senior Citizens.

Our leadership in restoration and care of collections will be extended by our presence in virtual media and by our commitment to education.

Hospitality & Comfort for the Dying and their Families

Isaiah House is a two bed home for the dying located in the city of Rochester. We opened our doors in 1987 in a home given to us by one of our donors. Inspired by the vision of our retired director Kathie Quinlan and the energy and passion of our current director Kristin Catalano, Isaiah House has been blessed with the opportunity to serve over 400 residents and their families. It is our philosophy to seek out and serve people with the greatest needs and fewest supports. There is no cost to stay at Isaiah House.

Founded in 1912 as the City of Rochester, New York's Municipal Museum, the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) has grown from a City-funded agency into a unique public/private partnership with the County of Monroe, which includes the Museum, the Strasenburgh Planetarium, Cummings Nature Center, and the RMSC Preschool.

Work - Wellness - Independence

Throughout its history three values – work, wellness, and independence – have remained at the core of Rochester Rehabilitation. Working with a $10 million annual operating budget, the agency serves 4,000 people in the Greater Rochester area living with disabilities. The most obvious types of disabilities may be physical, cognitive, or “hidden” (such as epilepsy, arthritis, and diabetes), while others may result from a variety of causes such as stroke, injury, or multiple sclerosis (MS).
As the community continues to feel the effects of the nation’s economic distress, there’s an increased need for the rehabilitative services that Rochester Rehabilitation provides. Your support allows it to deliver on its values of work, wellness, and independence.

Helping Elite & Recreational Athletes Realize Their Dreams

SportsNet is an adaptive sports and inclusive recreation program that celebrates the accomplishments of all athletes and abilities. Since 1998 more than 6,000 kids and adults with disabilities have had the opportunity to explore the possibilities of adaptive sports and recreation. In May 2015 SportsNet officially became a partnership among Rochester Rehabilitation, CP Rochester, and the Al Sigl Community of Agencies, a partnership that enhances SportsNet’s offerings and provide a greater selection of adaptive sports and inclusive recreation opportunities to individuals with disabilities.

A Christian Commitment to Serving People with Special Needs

Springbrook is a not-for-profit, state-licensed organization serving nearly 700 people with developmental disabilities from across New York State and beyond. Our programs are designed to teach the skills needed to maximize potential while putting those experiences in context. We work at school, in communities and in the home to create a comprehensive learning experience that makes every day a chance to discover, build and grow.

Granting Scholarships Since 2004

From the James R. Hoffa Scholarship Foundation to Local events, Teamsters 118 believes that helping to prepare our children for the future is one of the greatest gifts the Union can provide. As the next generation of leaders, it will be our children that will continue to grow the Teamsters and further the causes of trade unionism. Since its inception, the Teamsters Local #118 Scholarship Fund has awarded at least five $1,000 scholarships to worthy students every year.

Toast to Hope, 10 Years Strong

The American Cancer Society is dedicated everyday to winning the fight against cancer. and the annual "Toast to Hope" event celebrates great cancer survivors, honors those who have lost the fight, and raises money for breast cancer research and support programs… research and programs that are instrumental in helping to save the lives of all those we hold dear: our mothers, grandmothers, wives, daughter, sisters, aunts and friends. The annual event usually includes Wine and Beer tastings, Hors D'oeuvres and Carving Station, Silent Auction/Raffles, and a Spring/Summer fashion Show. The GOAL is to raise awareness about the steps that can be taken to help prevent breast cancer, and raise money to find cures, support programs and services for those facing the disease.
